Approximately 5 years ago, the Rotary Club of Hanford was looking for an international project. Another club in our district (Lemoore Rotary) was completing a water project in Guatemala. Three members from our club tagged along to see the finish of their service project, as well as visit some possible sites for us to consider. Ten trips later, we’ve grown to a multi-club effort, having successfully finished water, health & sanitation, and scholarship projects.
In 2011-’12, the following clubs are involved with financial contribution, as hands-on participants or both:

Our next trip is planned for January 20th- 31st, 2012. While there, we will work on our scholarship program, construction projects for two of the elementary schools, cleft palate repair and work a dual-club project with The Antigua Rotary Club.
