We have had great fun painting two world map murals at both Seseb and Seluc elementary schools. It is a very easy and inexpensive project. Anyone can do it, whether you have artistic ability or not. It’s a fun activity that can be shared by children and adults alike. Both of our murals were on exterior walls and completed within 2 or 3 days.

The template for this project is a simple grid system, which allows the countries to be outlined in pencil on your wall. Then it's just a matter of painting in your countries using the color/country code. It can be completed in just a couple of days with four to five people. Students can also participate in this hands-on project if they are old enough to paint within the lines. A link can be found at the bottom of this page for instructions and a supply list.
